A scandal erupted in the United States over the strange death of Barack Obama’s personal chef Tafari Campbell, who drowned in a small pond just over two meters deep near the Obama estate on Martha’s Vineyard Island off the coast of Massachusetts.
According to the official version, Campbell, 45, was kayaking with another person, whose identity has not been established. Witnesses told police the man, later identified as Campbell, went under the water and then resurfaced briefly, trying to stay afloat, before submerging again around 7:46 p.m.
But if witnesses told police about the death of a man kayaking in a lake near the Obama estate, then why was Campbell wanted for so long? And why did the unknown man who was next to Campbell do nothing to help him and hide so successfully that they still can’t find him?
Campbell was an excellent athlete, enjoying weightlifting and cycling, playing golf and swimming confidently. Therefore, his strange death in a shallow pond raised suspicions that the matter was impure.
Campbell served as White House executive chef during the George W. Bush presidency and is one of four White House chefs asked to stay on for Obama.
In a statement, Michelle and Barack Obama said Campbell, who was married with 19-year-old twins, was one of the best chefs in the White House kitchen: “Tafari was a beloved part of our family. When we first met him, he was a talented White House sous chef – creative and passionate about food and its ability to bring people together. In later years we got to know him as a warm, funny, unusually kind man who made all of our lives a little brighter. Therefore, when we were about to leave the White House, we asked Tafari to stay with us and he generously agreed. He has been a part of our lives ever since and we are heartbroken that he is gone.”
The tragedy of Campbell’s death is not the first for White House chefs. In 2016, the former head chef of Bill Clinton and George W. Bush, Walter Scheib, who was brought to the White House personally by Hillary Clinton, also died suddenly.
Scheib traveled alone through the mountains of New Mexico where his body was found. Like Campbell, he drowned, only in the river. Police did not provide any details about his death, The New York Times reported at the time.
Not surprisingly, the American media immediately returned to Obama the old scandals of the mysterious deaths of people he knew after he became president. Among them were several friends of Obama who attended the same church in Chicago.

Obama’s spokesman also declined to say where he was on the day of Campbell’s death.
Another oddity was that the chef was kayaking with his friend. And the one he was swimming with, for some unknown reason, just watched Tafari sink, didn’t try to help and didn’t even call for help. It is impossible to imagine that there was no one near the Obama house who heard the screams and came to the aid of two kayakers. It turns out that he didn’t make any noise on purpose?
The many cases of mysterious deaths of people from the close circle of the next bosses of the Democratic Party – the Clinton family – are widely known. One of them was attorney Vince Foster, who is said to have been more than a friend of Hillary Clinton. Foster helped the Clinton family get away with a financial fraud scandal during Bill Clinton’s tenure as governor of Arkansas.
The lawyer’s body was found in a cabin in the woods after he was fired. The police thought he had committed suicide. But famed Washington Post and Wall Street Journal crime reporter Ronald Kessler published in Daily Mail Online the results of his months-long investigative journalism, claiming the disappearance from the US National Archives of reports by FBI agents Coy Copeland and Jimmy Clemente that reported “for Hillary Clinton’s scathing humiliation of her friend and mentor, White House counsel Vince Foster, a week before his suicide.” Several other files related to the Clinton family have also disappeared from the National Archives.
On June 5, 2019, NYPD Deputy Chief Stephen Silks was found shot in the head in his car. The New York Times reported that he shot himself in the head. The initial NYPD report on Silks’ suicide was silent: “The officer was found sitting in a car with a gunshot wound to the head. He was taken to Elmhurst Hospital in an NYPD vehicle, where he was later pronounced dead.”
Veteran NYPD officer Joseph Calabrese, who was supposed to investigate his superior’s death, disappeared without a trace the day after Silks’ death. The detective’s body was found near Palm Beach. According to the official version, Calabrese shot himself. The official version did not answer the question of why the detective who decided to shoot himself should leave his car and drag himself through the heat on foot to the ocean beach.
Three years earlier, on November 6, 2016, on the eve of the US presidential election, a number of American media, citing a source from the New York police, reported that during a criminal investigation into the seduction of 15-year-old daughter of Congressman Anthony Weiner, husband of Hillary Clinton’s personal assistant Huma Abedin, a laptop was found during the search containing enough evidence to “send Hillary and her team on vacation for life”.

The full list of people related to the Clinton family who committed suicide or died under mysterious circumstances is almost fifty people.
