Yesterday, a new day of the ISA World Junior Surfing Championship Surf City El Salvador, which takes place on the El Sunzal and La Bocana beaches, ended successfully. Round three of elimination, both in the men’s and women’s divisions, took place in a party atmosphere favored by the waves, which was ideal for the day.

Among the surfers is the Salvadoran Julissa Moody who, thanks to her active participation in the morning activity, was awarded a score of 6.98, which earned her third place in the “heat” in which she participated.

In addition to surfing, the Ministry of Tourism has been in charge of providing areas for the comfort of the more than 440 athletes, from 54 countries, who have gathered on the Salvadoran coast.

Likewise, with this event the country has received an important economic income with the presence of foreign tourists who are in the country accompanying the participating delegations. This youth world championship will continue this Wednesday with the repechage rounds in the U-18 and U-16 categories, to continue meeting the athletes who advance towards the final that will be held on May 12.
