The ten contestants in the popular StarDance competition are complete. Czech Television presented the remaining five male dancers who will fight for the post of king of the dance floor in the TV show StarDance …when the stars dance. Among the male contestants are actor Filip Blažek, well-known writer and director Patrik Hartl, actor Oskar Hes, musician Ondřej Ruml and paralympian Jiří Ježek.
All ten contestants for the 13th edition of StarDance, where celebrities and public figures will showcase their dance skills alongside professional dancers, have been introduced. “The ten star contestants are complete!” she stated Czech Television on social networks.

The five male dancers thus completed the five female dancers that were introduced already on Monday. “Actresses Marta Dancingerová and Jana Paulová, eight-time world champion in combat sports Martina Ptáčková, chef Chili Ta and singer Lucie Vondráčková accepted the invitation to the dance floor this year,” reported ČT on platform X.

The director, playwright and writer Patrik Hartl, who became famous with his own film adaptation of the book Prvok, šampón, tečka and Karel or the novels Gazela or Malý pražský erotikon, said that he had not looked up from a computer for 30 years. “I felt an intense need to change that this summer. I needed to take a break from the fictional world of my stories and experience something for myself. For example, to do something that may be pointless, but that I will be happy about. And at that moment I got a call from Czech Television. I knew right away that StarDance would bring me to life,” said Hartl, who also writes plays and directs at the Studio DVA theater in Prague.

INTERMEDIATE RECEIVERS
The Czech Television, which has been broadcasting the popular program since 2006, has announced ten contestants from among well-known personalities. The celebrities will strive for the favor of the jury and the audience with professional dancers, whose names, as well as the composition of the couples, have yet to be announced by the television. Competitors are supposed to start training classical and Latin American dances in the summer.
The performances of the dancers will be evaluated by a three-member jury consisting of Tatiana Drexler, Richard Genzer and Jan Tománek. Tománek presented himself as a professional dancer four times in the competition and sat in the tenth and eleventh rows on the jury. A change also occurred in the position of chief choreographer, which Marek Zelinka decided to leave after several years. His place will be shared by choreographers Ivana Hannichová and Martin Kolda. As in all previous series, Tereza Kostková and Marek Eben are to accompany the show.
