A new cultural spot has just opened its doors at the foot of the Montparnasse Tower, on the site of the former Galeries Lafayette, 22, rue du Départ in Paris (15th century). “A mall dedicated to culture and entertainment,” summarizes Pierre-Yves Bonniau, general director of the Teamstadia agency, specializing in “transitional urban planning projects” such as the Richard-Lenoir wasteland (11th century) or the Mona Bismarck American Center (16th century). “When we learned that Galeries Lafayette was going to leave the premises in 2019, we did not want to miss this opportunity.
