What good is “loss of control”? The new “crime scene” from Frankfurt am Main in a quick check.

The plot in two sentences A young gamer is found stabbed to death in her apartment, with her blood on her boyfriend Lucas’s hands. His mother, a successful artist, does everything to distract the investigators from her son – but then Lucas’ ex-girlfriend is also killed.

Number of bodies 2

Approaching farewell The Frankfurt duo Brix and Janneke investigate this case harmoniously and with a pinch of humor. It’s a shame that there will only be one more case with them.

Good trick When the blood of the murdered Cara cannot be washed out of her son’s T-shirt, the sculptor Annette Baer simply paints over it and turns it into art – a creative way to make evidence disappear.

Our conclusion The investigators would like to get the solution to the case as quickly as possible. The fact that the plot is rather low in tension is not due to the actors and actresses (the mother-son team in particular is played intensively by Jeanette Hain and Béla Gábor Lenz). A wide variety of topics such as cyberbullying, which can suddenly become very real, feminism on the Internet or the problems of some East German young people overload the plot.

Tension grade 4; Logic grade 3
