From the Ministry of Health, Social Development and Sports of Mendoza they reported changes in the vaccination schedules for both COVID-19 and influenza. In addition, they clarified that there will be no modifications in the places enabled.
In both cases, and starting this week, it will be held from Monday to Saturday at the times that were already arranged for those days in hospitals, health centers and the spaces that the municipalities allocated for that purpose.
COVID-19 vaccination
On April 18, the application of the second booster of the vaccine began. The campaign is aimed at people over 50 years of age, health personnel and immunosuppressed people over 12 years of age.
In addition, children who have completed their vaccination schedule and have turned 12 today should receive their first booster, provided that four months have passed since their second dose.
The COVID-19 vaccine can be administered at the same time or delayed with other vaccines.
To receive the second reinforcement, no previous turn is required. All you have to do is bring your vaccination card and ID. In the case of the immunosuppressed, they must also present a medical certificate or documentation proving their condition (studies, prescription, etc.).

This year, influenza vaccination is carried out in stages. At this time, the authorized groups are: health personnel, people over 65 years of age, pregnant women; puerperal women, up to 10 days postpartum, and children from 6 to 24 months, as well as children older than 25 months with comorbidities.
In these cases, when going to be inoculated, they must bring their DNI, the vaccination card and the corresponding medical certificate.
It is important to remember that the flu vaccine can be co-administered with any other vaccine, such as the COVID-19 vaccine, MR (against measles, rubella) or another scheduled vaccine.
