The Valencian Community celebrates six consecutive days without registering deaths from coronavirus. Thus, the total continues at 1,476 people. By provinces: 227 in the province of Castellón, 512 in Alicante and 737 in the province of Valencia. But nevertheless, Public health has detected two new coronavirus outbreaks: one in Santa Pola with 4 affected people and another family outbreak in Borriana with 4 infected people.
At the same time, we must add 99 discharges to patients with coronavirus, so that the total of people cured already amounts to 17,376 people. By provinces: 2,457 in Castellón, 5,812 in Alicante and 9,106 in Valencia, to which there is add 1 displaced persons.
Furthermore, 54 new cases have been confirmed since the last update, bringing the total figure to 11,801 people: 12 in Castellón (1,663 in total); 9 in the province of Alicante (4,013 in total); and 33 in the province of Valencia (6,124 in total. In addition, we must add 1 not assigned previously.
Thus, 288 cases are currently active, which represents 1.5% of the total positives.
Valencian hospitals currently have 62 people admitted: 15 in the province of Castellón, 1 of them in the ICU; 20 in the province of Alicante, 4 of them in the ICU; and 27 in the province of Valencia, 2 of them in ICU.
The total number of tests carried out for the detection of the coronavirus have been 496,778 of which 368,654 have been through PCR and 127,124 through rapid test.
Coronavirus outbreaks update
Regarding the outbreak of the Rafelbunyol company, of the five serological tests that were pending, 1 is an active positive case and the other 4 correspond to past infections.
In relation to the family outbreak in Foios, 5 new positives must be added, so the total amounts to 12.
On the other hand, Public Health has detected a new family outbreak in Santa Pola with 4 affected people. A family outbreak has also been declared in Burriana with 4 infected people.
Update of the situation in residences
At the moment there are some positive cases in 6 centers (1 in the province of Castellón, 0 in the province of Alicante and 5 in the province of Valencia).
