New Corona rule: Do I have to go to work even with a positive test?

Formally, the following applies from March 1st: If employees test positive through a rapid test, self-test or PCR, they must appear for work from March 1st. The prerequisite is that they are free of symptoms.

Those affected can then either move into an individual office at the workplace or switch to the home office. You only have to wear a face mask at work.

If the corona test is positive without any symptoms, the employer can also suggest that the person concerned work overtime or take the remaining vacation time.

From March 1, the following applies: without symptoms, medical practices are no longer allowed to take sick leave from people who have tested positive. At the same time, there is no obligation to isolate. This means that those affected have to go to work.
