SHL announced on Tuesday a plan on how the basic series and the playoffs will be completed.
In the league’s mailing, it was possible to read that the last match in the regular season will be played on April 2, and that the playoffs will begin on April 5.
That scenario was on the agenda – as long as no team had new covid cases.
On Wednesday, however, Brynäs was hit by a corona eruption, which causes further complications for the SHL.
– We get to train with those who have had corona in the near future. Those who have received corona now and those who have not had the disease, we have sent home, says Michael Sundlöv.
What does this mean for your matches in the future?
– We can not play against Växjö in any case.
Is there any dialogue with the league about how this will be handled in the future?
– No, you can bring that with Johan Hemlin.
SportExpressen has been in contact with SHL’s sports director Johan Hemlin who asked to return.
