New compensation of 150 thousand tenge is “promised” to Kazakhstanis

news-id-116818" style="display:inline;">A video appeared on social networks about the “new resolution on payments”, according to which every resident of Kazakhstan is supposedly entitled to compensation of 150 thousand tenge. This message is fake, stopfake.kz reports

In the caption to the video, users are asked to follow a link that leads to the website of the OKC VNDS – “Official Compensation Center for the Return of Unpaid Funds.” On it, users who used a bank card for purchases are promised a tax refund. To do this, you need to fill out a form according to the instructions, indicating your data and the details of the card to which the compensation should be received.

Under no circumstances should this be done. Under the name OKC VNDS lies a long-known fraudulent scheme, thanks to which criminals can take possession of your money.

Similar advertisements for payments were previously distributed in Russia and Belarus.

In Kazakhstan, such videos circulated back in 2020. Then they were officially refuted by the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Thus, every Kazakh citizen does not need to believe the disseminated message about compensation. There is no information about the “resolution on payments” either on the official websites of government agencies of the Republic of Kazakhstan or in the media.
