Created in 1992, Cognac Grosperrin is a family estate. Taken over by his son, Guilhem in 2004, the Grosperrin house wishes to preserve its founding values: make cognac with local tastesr. To do this, Grosperrin decided to control the aging process, favoring humid cellars along the Charente for prolonged maturation. In 2012, the Grosperrin house moved into 19th century cellars on the quays of the Charente, seeking to recreate the aging conditions which contributed to the fame of the first merchant-breeders of the appellation.
