A new cluster has broken out at the Imperia hospital. After i positive cases al Department of Surgery (17 in total between patients e health workers), others have emerged infections in the medical ward.
In detail, there are 11 positive cases.

“Following the screening carried out throughout the hospital (patients and staff) 11 positive patients were identified in the medical ward.
The patients were transferred and the ward isolated and subjected to serial checks. The situation is constantly monitored and under control.
Asl1 immediately put in place all the necessary measures to limit the infection of the virus, in fact the Medicine ward has been isolated and the patients are constantly monitored by the medical staff of the Imperia hospital.
In the meantime, screening for patients and health personnel continues throughout the hospital, as well as the precautionary and temporary closure of the medicine and surgery clinic ”.
