Lübeck – In the past few months, club representatives from SC Rapid and SC Buntekuh met with many other club officials and had many conversations. The goal in the future was to find a way together in the youth sector.
Three founding members
The result is now JSG Concordia Lübeck. The founding members are the SC Rapid, SC Buntekuh and the VfL Vorwerk.

Over 20 teams
The three clubs will work together from G to A youth in the future and will send over 20 teams to play together in the first season. In the next few days the last contractual matters will be settled and then the new one will be ready JSG Concordia Lübeck nothing in the way.
“We don’t send children away”
Markus Schwarz vom SC Buntekuh says to HL-SPORTS: “It’s done. I am really glad and happy that we want to find a way together in the future. What is very important to me is that there is room for every child in our JSG. Of course we also want to offer competitive football, but of course there are also teams where the children should just have fun. “Blacky” continues: “Everyone wants Messi, but not a ball dyslexic. But we as district associations do not send away children, there is room for everyone with us. But of course the goal is to offer association league football upwards in the C to A youth area in the next two to three years.
“Inspire children to work together”
Martin Armbruster (SC Rapid): “I would like to thank my youth management team for the past weeks and months for their commitment to the formation of the JSG. We promise ourselves that we will be able to inspire many children for our project of cooperation, both in popular sport and at a higher level. Our youth coaches are already exchanging ideas with their colleagues from the other clubs. Rapid is looking forward to the JSG. “
“Chemistry is right”
Hans-Jürgen Peters von VfL Vorwerk says: “After I heard about JSG’s plans from Martin Armbruster, I was immediately very interested. Especially since it is becoming more and more difficult for small clubs like VfL to fill the age groups in the youth sector with teams who are capable of playing or even have to let children go, because only a handful of footballers of the same age are available, it was only logical to listen to the conversations. The concept was very convincing and I then talked to our youth coaches about this possibility. All trainers are now behind the JSG plan, especially since then all children, regardless of whether they are competitive football or fun football, can pursue their hobby with enough working hours. In addition, the chemistry between those responsible for the clubs is also right and so we on the board are looking forward to what’s to come. “
Game communities: trend of the future
JSG Concordia enters the race as a syndicate and not as an independent, newly registered club. The trend is clear, however, and the three founding clubs have understood that. Already in the travesto districts they went the common path for the future.
