New clinic directors in Mainkofen and Landshut

Chaired by District Assembly President Dr. Olaf Heinrich has appointed Uwe Böttcher as the future hospital director of the Mainkofen district clinic at the Lower Bavaria District Assembly.

The 47-year-old lawyer comes from Neustrelitz in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and studied law in Passau. Böttcher has been active in the healthcare sector since 2002, most recently as a lawyer and consultant in the healthcare sector. Before that, he was the sole managing director of the Niederlausitz Clinic and was responsible for strategic and operational management. Böttcher is married and has two children.

New appointments also in Landshut

He will take over the position of hospital director in Mainkofen on July 1st. In addition, Christian Fenzl was appointed future hospital director of the Landshut district hospital. The 40-year-old was born in Deggendorf. He has been a permanent member of the management of the district hospital in Mainkofen since 2015. As of October 1st, he will move to the Landshut District Hospital. − pnp
