New chocolate: Ritter Sport brings a new variety onto the market

The recommended retail price (RRP) for the duo bars is 3.29 euros, which corresponds to the previous price for the 250 gram large bars. However, the slightly smaller duo varieties are significantly more expensive to produce, which results in a correspondingly higher sales price.

The company aims to increase its market share in large chocolate bars through these new product innovations. Ritter’s market share in the size class over 100 grams is currently only 2.8 percent in Germany. However, the market share in the entire chocolate bar market is 13 percent.
