Chinese four-wheeler manufacturer Geely officially launched electric machine little named Panda Mini EV for domestic consumers. The vehicle is believed to be challenging Wuling Air ev which is also marketed in the country of Bamboo Curtain.
Disitat detikOto from Gizmochina, Saturday (17/12/2022), Panda Mini EV is the smallest vehicle ever produced by Geely. The electric car will reportedly be there under the Geometry branding as Geely’s parent company in China.
In appearance, the Panda Mini EV is similar to other Chinese-made small electric cars, which is a bit boxy with a two-row seating configuration. The vehicle has a long dimension of 3,065 mm and can accommodate up to four passengers including the driver.

As the name suggests, the Panda Mini EV has a touch similar to a bamboo ruminant. The manufacturer covers it with black and white accents, but the main colors are light blue and pink. The vehicle has a “nice” look and is suitable for use on busy streets.
If you pay attention at a glance, the front of the car looks like a panda’s face. For example, the main lights which are rounded like eyes, the grille which looks like a mouth and the mirrors which appear to form ear lobes.
Geely Panda Mini EV uses a 30kW electric motor and LFP battery produced by Guoxuan Hi-Tech. This arrangement allows the vehicle to travel up to 150 kilometers. It is enough for city use.

Even though it has been launched, the new Panda Mini EV will be sold next year. While the price is expected to start at US$5,700 or Rp. 88 million at US$7,200 or Rp. 112 million.
According to Geely, the vehicle is indeed presented for young consumers in urban areas. The Panda Mini EV is sure to add vibrancy to China’s small electric car market, which was previously driven by the Chery EQ1, Wuling Kiwi EV and, as mentioned above, the Wuling Air ev.
