In France, health authorities have confirmed the detection of the first case of covid 19 due to the virus variant SARS-CoV-2 (variant COV 202012/01) on December 25, 2020, a variant that is currently spreading in the south-east of England.
This first case was detected at Tours. He is a man of French nationality residing in England.
