40 of the newly infected in the last 24 hours are children, which makes 11.05% of all new cases. By age groups they are: 0-1 years – 8 cases, 2-5 years – 6 cases, 6-9 years – 7 cases, 10 – 14 years – 9 cases, 15 – 19 years – 10 cases.
Total confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria exceeded one million and alreadyand are 1,133,464. 3 611 155 PCR and 5 938 508 antigen tests were performed (a total of 9,549,663)as the average percentage of positive samples since the beginning of the pandemic is 11.86 percent – a decrease of 0.01% on a daily basis.

Exactly the occupancy of intensive care beds is one of the main criteria to tighten the measures in our country, and not, as before, the number of infected people or active cases.
In this regard, the Single Information Portal already provides data on the occupancy of the intensive care beds in the five clusters. To date, the whole country is already in Stage 1, with Region 3 (Varna, Dobrich, Silistra, Razgrad, Shumen and Targovishte) also joining the others in the green zone.
