Fiat Panda it is destined to become a European model with ambitions for global expansion. It will be relaunched with an innovative and avant-garde design, enriched by the latest technologies, bringing the Panda name to an international level. Although the final name has not yet been confirmed, it is likely that the new model is inspired by the Fiat Centoventi concept, presented at the Geneva Motor Show.

The concept was characterized by being a sort of compact crossover of the length of about 4 meters, designed to optimize the internal space and characterized by a youthful and modern design. The car will also include a combustion engine-equipped variant, which will be the most affordable version in the range. Production will take place in one of the Stellantis group plants located in Eastern Europe.

For the third generation of Jeep Compassthe use of a battery pack capable of providing at least 700 kilometers of autonomy on a single charge is envisaged, thus positioning the American brand’s SUV in the premium segment with even higher ambitions on the market.

Although there is still limited information available on the new Jeep Compass, the evolution is expected to involve slight changes to the design, while maintaining the successful elements of the current model. It will be more efficient from the point of view of fuel consumption, especially with the hybrid powertrain. The purchase price should start from around 30,000 euros, at least for the basic version.

The new Peugeot 3008 it will be available in an electric variant, also equipped with four-wheel drive thanks to a second motor positioned on the rear axle. Although it has not yet been officially confirmed, the introduction of a version with a three-cylinder 1,200 cc petrol engine, combined with a mild hybrid system and a robotic dual-clutch gearbox, offering an output of 136 HP, seems likely.

Among the features of new i-Cockpit of the Peugeot 3008, there is the large 21-inch curved high-definition panoramic screen, positioned raised above the dashboard and oriented towards the driver. Within this frame, there are two panels: one acts as an instrument panel and the other is a touchscreen dedicated to the multimedia system, accessible by and from the passenger. The starting price is expected to be around 29,000 euros.

Citroen is planning to release an enhanced version of Ami 2023, which will reach a maximum speed of 80 kilometers per hour. This evolution will make the vehicle even more interesting for a wider audience, thanks to greater versatility and the ability to cover stretches of road at a higher speed. In addition to the enhanced version, Citroen also presented AMI[for]All, a modified variant to allow disabled drivers to travel independently.

This version includes several changes for facilitate accessibility and driving, such as a driver’s door with a 90-degree swing and a steering device with a lever to accelerate and brake, as well as a ball inserted on the steering wheel to assist steering. The expected price is around 8,000 euros.

Opel Corsa it will follow the car manufacturer’s new course, revisiting the front end and adopting other changes, such as internal graphics on the lights and the full-width “Corsa” lettering on the tailgate. Inside, the dashboard will house the large glossy black panel taken from the Mokka crossover with which it shares the mechanics, integrating the digital dashboard and the multimedia system screen.

The vehicle will include the engine 1.2 turbo mild hybrid and 48 V and 131 CV, as well as an enhanced version of the electric motor, going from 136 to 156 HP, with a 48 kWh battery which will guarantee an estimated range of around 400 km. The availability of diesel versions could be eliminated. The starting price will be around 19,000 euros.

New records for the cars of the Stellantis group

Stellantis Group reported revenue growth in the first half, with net revenues of 98.4 billion euros with an increase of 12% compared to the same period of 2023. Net profit reached 10.9 billion euros, marking an increase of 37%. These positive results were driven by the electrification strategy and battery car sales, which saw an increase of 169,000 units (+24%), placing the company third in Europe for the number of electric vehicle registrations at drums.

Stellantis exceeded analysts’ expectations with a record first half and looks forward to the transition agreement with the Italian government for the production of one million vehicles a yearincluding commercial vehicles. This agreement could be signed as early as the next few weeks, representing a significant step in the company’s growth.

According to the CEO, Carlos Tavares, the performance in the first half supports the long-term sustainability of the group and the ability to achieve the objectives of the Dare Forward 2030 plan.
