Bethesda is currently working on the “Wastelanders” update for “Fallout 76” and on February 4, 2020 a new trailer is set to get in the mood. Bethesda also reports on the new call system included in “Wastelanders”.

Call system details

  • When your paths cross with those of the settlers and raiders for the first time, they will treat you with suspicion and hesitate to welcome you with open arms – after all, you are a stranger. But if you help them by providing them with information, eliminating opponents for them and completing their quests, your reputation will increase. There are seven levels, including “Hostile”, “Suspicious”, “Neutral”, “Ally” and more.
  • If you gain reputation with a faction, you will be notified of how many points you have earned, which of course differ depending on the deed. So when you complete a story quest, you will receive significantly more points than e.g. B. by completing a daily faction quest or by making certain dialogue decisions. But small cattle are also known to make crap.
  • In the social menu you can see your reputation with the political groups. For each faction there is an icon that shows your current reputation at the top of the menu under your account name. If you click on it, a window opens that shows you next to your level also when you reach the next one.
  • As your reputation with raiders and settlers increases, the people in the Crater and Foundation will welcome you more warmly and there are even new goods at the faction traders. When you complete story content, you also get access to new retailers. Among other things, they offer blueprints for new faction items, which you can unlock at certain levels such as “Neighborly”, “Friendly” or “Ally”.
