New Business in Ploërmel: Dubourg Supervision Brings Art Reproduction to the City

A new business arrives in Ploërmel (Morbihan).

In the Bois Vert area more precisely.

It is rue Bernard Perrot that the company Dubourg Supervision de Guégon (Morbihan) will install its new activity of reproduction d’oeuvres d’art by the end of the year.

While waiting for the move in, the business is already running at full capacity.

Kenny Dubourg31 years old and Guillaume Charitat34, is responsible for fulfilling orders.

An area that Kenny knows well: “My dad, Jean-Yves Dubourg and my brother Alan, who manage the company Dubourg Encadrement in Guégon, had the opportunity to buy the company Repro Art Deco of Quimper specialized in the reproduction of works by Breton artists. »

Photographs. Paintings. Since April 2023, Kenny and Guillaume have ensured the continuity of this company and have invested in equipment to extend its services nationally:

Our ambition is to highlight French art. So that all households have access to it at a reasonable cost

Banking on the quality of its so-called “museum” paper, resistant to aging and its inks guaranteed for 150 years, the pair has already won over artists beyond Brittany : “Some people ask us for limited printing to maintain a prestigious side.

Others want several dozen copies to make their art accessible. We adapt to demand. »

And recognized know-how and an essential attention to detail to reproduce the works as faithfully as possible: “We use gloves and take great care when preparing the visual. It’s precision work that brings real depth to the final rendering,” explains Kenny.

If, for the moment, the pair only responds to orders from artists, they are already working on the creation of a website called “La Maison d’Arthur” in which the general public will be able to purchase the works and receive them directly at home: “Of course with the agreement of the artists,” smiles Guillaume.

Accessible to individuals
