The publishing house of Turība University of Business Administration has published a new book “Cross-Border Business Model Management”, authored by Ph.D. Helen Skadiņa and Dr. oec. Rosita Zvirgzdiņa. From February 20, the book will be available in bookstores and e-bookstores, as well as in the library of the University of Business Turība, where it can also be purchased.
The global economy is driving digital innovation, transforming entire systems and making them more connected, smarter and more efficient across industries. Under its influence, companies are exposed to many changes, as processes speed up, the boundaries of traditional markets disappear, the variety of services increases, and existing business areas and business models are transformed. Various changes force companies to develop new skills – to become more flexible and able to adapt to external conditions.
Business modeling helps improve the mentioned skills, because the business model, including the most important components of international operations and digital transformation mechanisms, provides business managers with opportunities to evaluate activities and their consequences. This book explores business models and the theoretical aspects of the business model environment to understand how business models and the modeling environment influence the implementation of business and management functions.
