The health crisis has caused a drop in attendance at collections in companies, thus regularly jeopardizing the level of Red Cross stocks. A new blood drive is organized at La Bouverie this Monday, June 27th.

This situation is likely to be even more glaring in the weeks to come: departures on vacation inevitably cause a reduction in the number of blood donations.
However, the needs of hospitals remain the same regardless of the time of year. Some chronic diseases (leukemia, hemophilia) require periodic transfusions throughout a lifetime: 90% of the samples taken are used for these purposes.
A small gesture for health
In this context, the Red Cross travels as close as possible to the citizens: the collections organized in the villages are generally very successful. There is no doubt that the generosity of the Borains will be there!
The collection of La Bouverie will take place on June 27 from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the premises of the Sainte-Marie school, rue Pasteur Busé, 2A in La Bouverie.
The success of this day will depend on the establishment of other dates. The Blood Service of the Red Cross will be happy to welcome those who would like to renew or make this small gesture for their health for the first time.
Blood donation for this collection is by appointment. How to register?
