At 105 Hudson Street, New York has had a new restaurant in recent days, Beefbar. The Monegasque brand has just opened its first address in North America, in the heart of Manhattan, in the TriBeCa district.
“My family has been exporting quality beef from the United States to Europe for over 40 years, and Beefbar was created 20 years ago to showcase the incredible products that American producers could produce”said Riccardo Giraudi, who created the Beefbar brand in 2005. “Bringing the brand back to its product roots is a huge honor. I hope New York enjoys all the great recipes we’ve developed over the years.”
For this new challenge, the Monegasque brand maintains its achievements with a menu designed by the group’s executive chef, Thierry Paludetto. And a decor signed by the tandem of architects Humbert & Poyet.
They create a decor dominated by large arched windows, velvet-covered benches and bronze and alabaster sconces. Beautifully framed in fluted red and white marble, the large open kitchen and meat display case open onto the space, where guests can enjoy some of the brand’s signature dishes such as the croque sando garnished with cured beef ham and mozzarella or a wagyu bolognese!
