Honda announced the official price of the latest generation Honda BR-V. Now, with a number of updates, the price of the Honda BR-V starts at IDR 275.9 million.
The launch of the Honda BR-V seemed disturbed by the presence of the latest generation Toyota Avanza and Daihatsu Xenia. Moreover, the two low MPVs also get a touch of SUV-style design.
Even so, PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) remains confident with the Honda BR-V. Business Innovation and Marketing & Sales Director of PT Honda Prospect Motor Yusak Billy said, the SUV segment was excited.
“This is a lot of good launches (new cars from competitors) because the market will be excited. So we just focus on what consumers want,” said Billy at the GIIAS 2021 arena at ICE, BSD, Kab. Tangerang, Thursday (11/11/2021).
“The BR-V is still in the LSUV class. The market is indeed there. Indeed, the LSUV LMPV class has a high trend. If the SUV is an Indonesian infrastructure, the road is not good, so the high ground clearance continues to rise,” he said.
This is also coupled with the Indonesian culture that likes to travel in groups. So the 7-seater car was much in demand.

The price of the All New Honda BR-V announced today is the on the road price for the Jakarta area and includes emission taxes that will apply in January 2022. This price can be adjusted if there is a change in regulations such as tax incentives and others. This price is the price that is valid until December 31, 2021 for cars with a 2022 frame number. According to the plan, the first delivery of this car to consumers will be in January 2022.
This second generation Honda BR-V has a new look and is embedded with several advanced technologies. The All New Honda BR-V now uses a 1.5L DOHC i-VTEC engine which has been updated to produce a maximum power of 121 PS at 6,600 rpm and a maximum torque of 145 Nm at 4,300 rpm. The improved engine is also supported by a new CVT transmission system, resulting in better fuel efficiency and powerful performance while being environmentally friendly with emission standards according to EURO 4 standards.
