On the night of March 24, Russian Su-35 fighter jets fired 11 guided bombs and one Kh-31P missile over the Sumy region of Ukraine.
According to the Air Force (Air Force) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), on the night of March 24, the enemy attacked Ukraine with Shahed-136/131 attack drones and guided aerial bombs. The drone launches were carried out from the northeast, they attacked Kryvyi Rih and Sumy region, reports UNIAN.
“The enemy’s tactical aviation was picked up from two Russian airfields – Morozovsk and Akhtubinsk. Ten Su-35 fighters launched 11 guided bombs and one Kh-31P missile in the Sumy region,” the Air Force reported.
It was previously reported that on the night of March 24, the Russians carried out a massive attack on the Sumy region, as a result of which two people were killed and 10 people were injured.
According to the Sumy regional military administration, the territories of the settlement municipalities of Belopolskaya, Vorozhbyanskaya, Rechkovskaya and Nikolaev came under night shelling from various types of weapons.
“The enemy is massively shelling the city of Belopolie: an airstrike was carried out, shelling from MLRS “Town” (80 hits) and from artillery guns (20 hits). As a result of the shelling of the city of Belopolie, two people were killed and 9 were injured. Schools, a residential building, multi-family and private houses, a dormitory were damaged,” the report says.
In addition, shelling from multiple rocket launchers (RCLS) was carried out in the city of Vorozhba, as a result of which a residential building and an outbuilding were damaged, one person was injured.
The Russians carried out an airstrike and a kamikaze drone attack on the village of Viri in the Rechkovo municipality, as a result of which a kindergarten, an office building and a school building were destroyed.
The village of Rechki was also shelled. Private houses, an administrative building and a high school building were damaged.
“Nikolaev settlement community: an airstrike was carried out on an agricultural company. Production facilities and agricultural equipment were damaged. Also during the night there was shelling of the Novoslobodska municipality. Fortunately, without consequences,” added the regional military administration.
On the night of March 24, Russian troops attacked territories in Ukraine. It became known that Kryvyi Rih from the Dnipropetrovsk region was attacked. Authorities said there were 5 drone strikes.
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that on March 24, Russia struck Ukraine with drones, missiles and guided aerial bombs.
