Aldi customers don’t be surprised if you discover a new logo in your favorite store. Since this Wednesday, the brand has in fact used a “Today for tomorrow” logo on certain products.
As the specialized Gondola site explains, the objective of this logo is to allow customers to recognize all sustainable products and the actions carried out by the hard discounter.
“Initiatives such as reducing disposable plastic, greener packaging or efforts to make our stores climate-friendly also carry this label,” explains Stefaan De Schepper, corporate responsibility manager at Aldi, to our colleagues.
Because Aldi has real objectives in ecological terms: “We have in particular the ambition to reduce our CO2 emissions by 40% by 2021”. And Aldi also wants to save 10% of packaging by the end of 2025.
