New Asterix and Obelix game announced; see the trailer

Another Asterix and Obelix game with the Microids seal is on the way. Developed by OSome Studio, the beat’em up game, called Asterix & Obelix XXXL: The Ram From Hibernia will have versions for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch and PC. The launch will take place during the Brazilian spring.

In the trailer released by the companies, it is possible to follow some of the gameplay with the duo. The game will support up to four players cooperatively. The other duo joining the action will also play the famous Welsh brothers, but both will be in different colors than the original characters. Look:

The protagonists will be able to take advantage of their fists and the throwing of various objects scattered around the scenario during combat. In this new Asterix and Obelix game, the story will take them to Hibernia (now known as Ireland), where, as usual, they will have to deal with the invasion of Roman soldiers into the territory.

This time, the problem caused by the enemies was the theft of the “Golden Ham” from the Whiskitonix boss. Keratine, his daughter, summons the fighters to rescue the object from the opponents’ hands.
