Electronic Arts and BioWare have not yet revealed when the next “Dragon Age” will be on the market, but the developers regularly provide us with new artworks that give us a small glimpse of the upcoming adventure in Thedas. After we were shown a magician in an earlier picture, this time the Gray Guardians return.
Gray guards in Tevinter?
Anyone who has dealt with the RPG brand from the start will know the Gray Guardians as the last line of defense against the Dark Brood who overran the lands of Ferelden in “Dragon Age: Origins”. As the Gray Guardians drink from the poisonous blood of the Dark Brood, they develop a bond with their archenemies and can sense them when they are around.
Over the centuries, the Gray Guardians have been severely decimated. Few fighters survived the battles in Ferelden, while little was heard of the Gray Guardians in Kirkwall. In “Dragon Age: Inquisition” the Gray Guardians again had to fight serious corruption by a demon.

With the latest picture, Executive Producer Christian Dailey has raised the question of what brings the Gray Guardians to Tevinter. Finally, the new “Dragon Age” will tie in with the events of the last part and send the players to the northern part of Thedas’.
As soon as BioWare reveals more details about “Dragon Age”, we will update you. First of all, here is the latest picture of the Gray Guardian:
