The Attorney General’s Office (FGR) issued four new arrest warrants against William Benjamin Umaña for defrauding several victims in Santa Tecla.
Umaña posed as an employee of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAG), and made his victims believe that the institution was implementing programs to benefit female entrepreneurs and that in order to join they only had to pay $104 dollars.
After the people gave him said payment, the subject stopped communicating with them and did not return the money.
The accused is already in provisional prison and will be notified of the crimes that continue to be attributed to him.
