New update for App Store Connect which goes to version 2.0. Developers will find a revamped interface, new tools and the arrival of alternative stores to distribute an application outside the App Store on the European market.
After TestFlight, it’s App Store Connect’s turn to update
Apple has just launched a new version 2.0 of App Store Connect, its application dedicated to app developers on the App Store. An update that provides developers with new features to optimize their applications and address detailed information. Now they can access more than 50 new analytical reports, which provide them with a clearer view of their application performance.
These tools provide a better understanding of user behavior, application stability and performance issues in order to anticipate future improvements. In addition to advanced analytics data, this release also incorporates the ability for developers to add “alternative marketplaces” for their apps, a particularly interesting option for those targeting the European market, where new regulations allow app stores independent of Apple since March 5, 2024 and the release of iOS 17.4.
Developers will also receive notifications via App Store Connect when one of their apps is featured in specific sections of the tab Todayas “App of the day” or “Game of the Day” on the App Store. Finally, remember that App Store Connect allows you to create beta versions for TestFlight, which was also recently updated.
