AMD has officially unveiled the new Ryzen 5000 desktop processors. AMD’s top-of-the-line Ryzen 9 5900X chip has been called “the world’s best gaming processor” by comparing it to the Intel Core i9-10900K.

The company claims that in most popular games such as Dota 2, PUBG, League of Legents, CS: GO, Far Cry and others, the new AMD Ryzen 9 is up to 21 percent faster than its competitor.

In addition to the “nine”, the new line of chips includes Ryzen 5 5600X, Ryzen 7 5800X, as well as another top-end Ryzen 9 5950X – all of them are manufactured using 7nm process technology, but thanks to the Zen 3 architecture, they have an increased IPC (the number of instructions executed per tact). They will go on sale on November 5, the prices are set as follows:
– AMD Ryzen 5 5600X – $ 299
– AMD Ryzen 7 5800X – $ 449
– AMD Ryzen 9 5900X – $ 549
– AMD Ryzen 9 5950X – $ 799
The manufacturer also promises that the new processors will be compatible with older motherboards.
Intel will be able to respond to this impudent attack only in the first quarter of 2021, when the start of sales of new eleventh-generation Core processors.
