There are already numerous lawsuits against the rapper “Diddy” – now dozens of new ones are being added. A law firm represents 120 people who accuse the musician of mistreatment and sexual assault.
There are dozens of new allegations against US rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs (54), who has already been accused of numerous sexual crimes and is in custody. A Houston law firm said it represented 120 people – 60 women and 60 men – with allegations against Combs. These include people who were said to have been minors at the time of the alleged crime.
The allegations included, among other things, sexual assault and abuse. According to the information, the crimes have mostly taken place at parties or events in New York and Los Angeles since 1991. “One of the entertainment industry’s biggest secrets, which was no longer a secret, has now come to light,” said the law firm’s boss, Tony Buzbee. “I expect we will begin filing the lawsuits in the next 30 days.”
“Diddy” denies allegations
He has been in custody for around two weeks. The rapper is accused of, among other things, trafficking in women, organized crime and other crimes. Combs pleaded not guilty. There are also already several civil lawsuits alleging sexual abuse.
Rapper remains in custody
The rapper’s legal team is currently seeking his release from custody and has appealed the judge’s decision not to release Combs conditionally until the trial begins. There was initially no reaction from the court. A date for a possible start of the trial has not yet been set.
