Despite its size, the new Lenovo ThinkCentre neo 50a 24 should be packed with office muscle – and with intelligence too. At least that is what Lenovo promises in its press release.
The machine has 16 GB of memory and a storage capacity of up to 1 TB. The processor is a 12th generation Intel Core H. The graphics card is an Intel Arc A370M, which is not necessarily on the same level as heavier 3D cards from Radeon or Nvidia, but is still faster than Intel’s integrated Xeon graphics. Which should otherwise be sufficient for most office work.
The 23.8-inch screen promises a wide viewing angle. The resolution is Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels), which is on the low end for work use. But it will most likely be reflected in the price when it is later announced. The screen is available both with and without a touch function.
Intelligent help
The Lenovo ThnkCentre neo 50a 24 should make the working day a little easier with the help of built-in artificial intelligence. It includes, among other things, automatic reduction of noise and AI Meeting Manager with real-time translation, voice to text function and editing tools for meeting notes. The AI chip-controlled IR camera in the adaptive screen can, for example, adapt the brightness to the surroundings or dim the screen’s light when the user looks away.
The ThinkCentre neo 50a 24 will be on the market until August 2022.
