The group was formed in 2014 as a duo of Frenchman Julien Joel Stark (voice, guitar, drums) and Latvian Rūta Rozenfelde (voice, guitar) living in Latvia. Both have recorded the first two albums as a duo. In 2019, Jānis Untāls (drums) and Adrians Grīns (guitar) joined the band. Later, in 2019, the line-up changed: Jānis Untāls was replaced by Mārtiņš Kuzmins on drums.

In its sound, “Les Attitudes Spectrales” combines different genres of music: psychedelia, noise rock, shoegaze and post-punk. The association has performed in many concert venues from Riga to Paris and performed at several festivals in Latvia and Europe.
