Maybe many people don’t know, the Toyota Agya with the GR Sport badge is no longer included in the Low Cost Green Car (LCGC) ranks, aka the most economical cars in Indonesia. Agya GR Sport is now head to head with the Honda Brio RS.
So now there are two levels offered from Agya, namely the LCGC segment; Agya type G and Agya type E, while the non LCGC variant is Agya GR-S. Honda has actually taken steps like this through the Brio Satya for LCGC and the Brio RS for non-LCGC.
The two cars outside the LCGC have reached more than IDR 200 million. Agya GR Sport is currently sold starting from IDR 237.5 million and Agya GR Sport CVT Two-Tone is priced at IDR 256 million. As a comparison, the Brio RS M/T is currently selling for IDR 243,100,00 and the Brio RS CVT IDR 253,100,000.
One of the advantages of the Agya GR Sport compared to the LCGC variant is that it is equipped with a sporty aero kit and improves aerodynamics. Then the 15-inch alloy wheels make it even more stable and sporty.
Inside the cabin, which is more spacious and comfortable, there are several GR Sport touches, such as dark silver ornament color on the AC grille, GR Sport logo, floor mat and leather shift knob.
Meanwhile, the Ayla GR Sport is equipped with a new WA-VE 1,200 cc 3-cylinder Dual VVT-i engine with 88 PS at 6,000 rpm and 11.52 Kgm of torque at 4,500 rpm. The power is channeled through CVT and Manual transmissions.
