Another superyacht has been delivered at Heesen Yachts. The Sparta was towed from the shipyard in Oss towards the Maas on Monday morning for the first test runs. The superyacht was spotted for the first time in the canal at Macharen on Monday morning.
At 67 metres, the new superyacht is the longest steel yacht Heesen Yachts has built to date. The luxury ship with three decks costs around one hundred million euros. The new owner has not been disclosed.
This ship is also of unprecedented luxury and can only be bought by the very rich. Previously, these were often Russians, but since the sanctions due to the war in Ukraine, that has become a lot more difficult.
The 67 meter long yacht is powered by two 1500 hp engines. The ship has two owner’s cabins on a private deck and space for 14 guests in seven cabins on the main deck. Seven other cabins can accommodate the crew of 14 people. Striking is the large aft deck with swimming pool and a large wellness area on board.
At the beginning of last year things went completely wrong when Heesen’s largest yacht was towed across the Maas. The water was too high and the Galactica could not pass under the Hedel railway bridge and had to turn around.
