New 35 Million Euro Aquapark Construction in Romania Financed by European Funds

The town hall of a city in Romania has announced the construction of an aquapark worth around 35 million euros, financed by European funds.

“The city of Taşnad announces the opening of the decision-making transparency procedure of the public consultation process for the project entitled ‘AQUAPARK TRANSILVANIA TERME TĂŞNAD’ developed in the balneoclimatic tourist resort and proposed for financing by UAT Taşnad through the Regional Operational Program 2021 – 2027, Policy Objective 5 ‘A Europe closer to the citizens, by promoting the sustainable and integrated development of all types of territories and local initiatives'”, states the Tăşnad City Hall, on Facebook.

The project involves the construction of a new aquapark with ground floor and first floor, with thermal water pools for both adults and children, a SPA area, a parking lot for 200 cars, equipped with photovoltaic panels.

The total value of the investment is estimated at 35 million euros and would be financed from European and local funds.

Interested persons can consult the documentation and send proposals and suggestions until October 18.
