Volkswagen has introduced a sporty modification of the new generation Transporter minivan called the Sportline. The car impresses with an aggressive exterior design in the style of the Golf GTI hatchback. More of the changes in the sports version include an upgraded suspension with ground clearance reduced by 30 mm.
In addition, the car is equipped with 18-inch aluminum wheels in black, a small spoiler at the rear of the body, a new front bumper and metal door sills. The equipment of the minivan includes Nappa leather upholstery, rear view camera, infotainment system with navigation, as well as adaptive cruise control with automatic emergency braking system.
In terms of motorization, the Volkswagen Transporter Sportline is equipped with a two-liter turbodiesel with 204 hp, working together with a seven-speed robotic gearbox with two clutches. The engine allows the minivan to accelerate from zero to 100 km / h in 8.9 seconds. The Volkswagen Transporter Sportline will be available in the UK from £ 42,940.
