The policemen have nothing to say, as this is Dimitrova’s constitutional right and they cannot force her to appear without a defense attorney. There are few cases in our country where, when the victim is called for questioning, she asks for a lawyer. It is extremely strange that Dimitrova insists so much on her defender, because she will be interrogated as a victim, not as a perpetrator.
The lawyer of the actress, who was arrested 5 years ago, has not specified to the authorities exactly when she will return. This will most likely happen after Christmas and December 29 is the legal deadline for the SDVR to conduct the questioning. The supervising prosecutor is unlikely to hold the cops accountable if they don’t carry out their instructions, because he’s no longer up to them.
The whole saga, which has kept the company in suspense for almost three weeks now, began after a surprising post by Dimitrova on his Facebook profile.
