Nevers hospital condemned for refusing to put a nurse on “long-term” leave despite doctors’ advice

A case brought by the CFDT was tried in the administrative court of Dijon, and the Hospital Center of the Nevers agglomeration (Chan) was convicted. Following a work stoppage issued by her attending physician, a nurse Chan was placed by the hospital on ordinary sick leave for ‘occupational burnout syndrome’, rather than ‘occupational disease’, between 2016 and the 2017.
