Nevers-Dijon Train Line Reopens After 7 Months of Work: Tickets Prices Increased, No Reduction in Travel Time

Not faster, but more expensive

While the Nevers-Dijon train line fully reopened on Saturday February 17 after seven months of work, the collective “Nevers-Dijon in 2 hours” underlines that, if the journey is announced more comfortable by the SNCF and the Bourgogne-Franche Region -County, the work “does not lead to any reduction in travel time”. And to also denounce “the average immediate increase of 4% in TER tickets and even more on short distances: + 16% for short journeys of less than 35 km which increase from €6 to €7 like Imphy-Decize, + 33 % for intercity coaches with an increase of 1.5 to 2 €.
