Never returned: Male celebrities who fled Ukraine during the war

For more than a year, a full-scale war has been going on in Ukraine, which Russia has hostilely unleashed.

Many famous stars at the beginning of the Russian invasion went abroad or were already there. However, most of them are already in Ukraine, and travel outside of it only when they give charity concerts.

However, not all stars returned to Ukraine. Some celebrities went abroad during the war and stayed there.

The editors of the TSN.ua website have compiled a selection of famous men who left Ukraine during the war and never returned.

Vlad Yama

The famous choreographer left Ukraine with his family as soon as the full-scale war began. Vlad left the country with his family on February 24. When asked how he did it, the choreographer replies that he managed to leave before men were banned from crossing the borders.

However, due to the departure to the United States, a flurry of criticism on the Web rained down on the dancer. Vlad has been criticized for fleeing to the US when he could have stayed in Ukraine and helped. Although Vlad says that he is raising funds abroad for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In particular, the choreographer, along with other celebrities, takes part in charity events and auctions.

Alexander Ellert

The showman left last summer for California, USA. As Ellert said, abroad he participated in a concert on the occasion of Independence Day. However, the showman never returned to Ukraine. Alexander was repeatedly reproached for this, but he does not respond to the hate.

Kyivstoner

The Ukrainian blogger and rapper was in Ukraine at the beginning of the full-scale war. However, later the musician and his family moved to the United States. As his wife Alina said, Albert has long had American citizenship, so he left legally.

The artist’s wife also noted that he helps Ukraine from abroad. Albert donates funds to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and also helps children who suffered from the war. True, the rapper does not advertise this on social networks.

Oleg Vinnyk

For a long time it was not known where Oleg Vinnik was. As the full-scale war began, the celebrity did not make any statements. Only later in the photoblog did the musician publish several patriotic posts and video messages to the Russian and Belarusian military urging them to stop the invasion.

Later it became known that Vinnik is in Germany. There, the musician is being treated for a serious illness. As his lawyer said, he left Ukraine legally, because he has German citizenship. Moreover, Vinnik went abroad even before the start of a full-scale war. The lawyer also stressed that the singer from Germany helps the Armed Forces of Ukraine. There the artist buys cars and military ammunition. Vinnik himself does not get in touch at all. The artist also did not return to Ukraine.

Anatoly Evdokimenko

The grandson of the singer Sofia Rotaru has come a long way to leave Ukraine. Anatoly, in early March last year, together with his father Ruslan, tried to illegally escape to Moldova. Evdokimenkov was detained by border guards when they crossed the state border on a boat.

However, later Anatoly managed to leave Ukraine. Currently, the singer’s grandson is in Europe, where he continues his musical activities. How Anatoly managed to cross the border is unknown.
