Never expect mutual love; Friendship and love cannot exist in cinema: Ashokan
Ashoka is an actor who started his film career with Peruvahiyambalam directed by Padmarajan. Early in his career, Padmarajan, KG Ashoka was able to be a part of the films of great directors like George, Bharatan and others.
Now the actor talks about his relationship in the film. Ashokan says that he is friendly with everyone, but will not expect mutual love in the film. In an interview with Kaumudi Movies, he says that cinema is a business.
“There’s a camaraderie with everyone in the film. The movie is good for friendship only. I have that friendship. Never expect a back and forth romance in a movie. Because film is a business. Film is just a business.
Then it can never be said that it is love in the film. It is no one’s fault. That’s the movie. I can’t say that this is my single closest friend in film. There may be a few like that. That won’t even be ten percent.
Friendship and love are not seen in movies. There is no place for love in business. Friendship in cinema can only exist in one scene. This is my opinion. Many people may have different opinions on this. As it is a business, we collaborate here and there only when the film requires it,’ said Ashokan.
