The creators of this series have ideas in spades, and quantum physics sprinkled with two or three nonsense, too. Rick and Morty, this interdimensional and completely crazy animated show continues its rise and will be back for an eighth season in 2025… followed closely by four others!

We rightly complain about the cancellation of many series by streaming platforms. The Acolyte on the Disney+ sideMy Lady Jane for Prime Video, or more recently Kaos on Netflix, have been the big victims of this harvest in recent weeks. But if there is one series that is not likely to fear cancellation at the moment, it is indeed Rick et Mortywho has just learned some very good news.

An original trailer and a statement at Comic-Con!

It is Adult Swim, official broadcaster of the series abandoned by Cartoon Network when the channel has cold feet, which revealed this little teaser like no other. In short, we see a two-minute scene from an upcoming episode, not yet finalized. A crude line, where the mouths and faces are barely animated, but a piece of the scenario already revealed. Rick and Morty travel happily in their little ship. They land inside another, much more imposing, where cryogenic bodies are floating in tubes. These men and women have exhausted all of their planet’s resources and are on their way to a new Eldorado. Naturally, Rick’s immorality dictates that he rob these poor people…
