“Never Collect: Slovan’s Advantage with a Defining Moment, Michalovce Unable to Catch Up”

BRATISLAVA – The hockey players of Slovan Bratislava beat Dukla Michalovce 4-0 in the fifth quarter-final match of the Tipos extraliga playoff and reduced the four-game winning streak to 2-3. The sixth duel is scheduled for Sunday at 18.00 in Michalovce.

The players of the reigning champions decided their triumph in the first period when Daniil Fominych opened the scoring in the 5th minute and Brant Harris added the second goal two minutes later. Matt MacKenzie then provided the insurance in the 53rd minute, and Milan Kytnár scored into an empty net during the guests’ power play. The duel was watched by 8303 spectators.
