Nevada Women’s Golf Team Finishes 9th at Competitive Causeway Invitational

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Nevada Women’s Golf team concluded its participation in the Causeway Invitational at Del Paso Country Club with a final team score of 889 (+25). The 54-hole event, featuring 36 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday, saw the Wolf Pack finish just a single stroke behind both Seattle and Cal Poly. The tournament commenced each day with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. PT. The par-72 course, stretching 6,143 yards, presented a formidable test for all participating teams. After a strong showing on the first day that placed them 7th, the Wolf Pack faced stiff competition.

Competitive Field at Del Paso Country Club

The Causeway Invitational drew a strong field of competitors. Oregon State claimed the top spot with a score of 853 (-11), followed closely by Sacramento State at 855 (-9). Colorado secured third place with a score of 870 (+6), while UC Davis finished fourth at 875 (+11).
