The tournament was held on April 14 in Las Vegas. Tsarukyan won a split decision over Brazilian Charles Oliveira. While entering the octagon, the 27-year-old Russian, who was competing under the Armenian flag, hit a fan who showed him the middle finger.

After the fight, Tsarukyan tried to explain the incident.

“No one can give me the middle finger. It doesn’t matter who you are, I’ll punch you in the face. You can show your middle finger from 200 meters and I won’t hit you. But if you are in front of me, it happens automatically. I am from Russia. Please don’t do this. Otherwise, I will be sent to an American prison,” Tsarukyan said.

After the incident, the fan apologized to the fighter and promised not to call the police. Despite this, NSAC decided to suspend the payment of the tax
Tsarukyan for the fight with Oliveira and after reviewing the event, a decision can be disqualified. According to the manager of the fight Said Adrahmanov, a commission about this event will be held on April 30.

Earlier, Tsarkuyan said he expected to earn more than $300 thousand for the fight against Oliveira.

Arman Tsarukyan has been competing in the UFC since April 2019. In the American promotion, he had 11 fights, in which he won nine victories, four of them by knockout. His overall record in his professional MMA career is 22-3.
