Contract Hospital Practitioner (PHC) position from November 2023.
Profile: DES MIR, MAR, or Neurology with experience in intensive care
The Intensive Medicine and Resuscitation Unit of the La Pitié-Salpêtrière Neurology Department has 10 resuscitation beds and 8 continuing care beds.
In addition to a traditional medical resuscitation activity, the unit provides specialized care for patients with acute neurological pathology:
- Status epilepticus (refractory and super refractory)
- Encephalitis (dysimmune, infectious)
- Encephalopathies (metabolic, innate or acquired)
- Neuromuscular pathologies (Guillain-Barré syndrome, myasthenia gravis)
- Diagnostic and prognostic explorations of consciousness disorders
- Decompensations of chronic neurological pathologies
The medical staff is 5 full-time equivalents (2 PH, 1 PUPH, 1 MCUPH, 2 CCA and 1 PHC) and 4 interns (+ GH interns for the guards).
Equipment: Echographs (Mindray, 2), Prismas (3), Optia (plasma exchange), continuous EEG video monitoring (2), EMG, EEG 256 electrodes (cognitive evoked potentials multimodal analysis of the EEG).
