NEURC approved an increase in water tariffs in Ukraine from January 1: how much will have to pay

The residents of Zaporozhye will have to pay the most for water supply: UAH 54.63 per cubic meter excluding VAT. And in Kiev, the fee will rise to UAH 25.32.

From the first day of the new year for residents of Ukraine, the payment for water supply has been increased. The national regulator approved tariff changes for 45 water utilities. About it informs press service of the National Commission, which carries out state regulation in the fields of energy and utilities (NEURCU).

How will the tariffs for residents of Ukraine change?

The residents of Zaporozhye will have to pay the most for water supply. For clients of KP “Oblvodokanal” the new tariff will correspond to UAH 54.63. (excluding VAT) for 1 cubic meter of used water.

The next in this list is KP “Umanvodokanal”. From January 1, residents of Uman will have to pay 47.92 UAH per 1 cubic meter, and for clients of the KP “Berdyanskvodokanal” the tariff will rise to 47.56 UAH per 1 cubic meter of water.

For clients of KP “Bakhnut-Voda” tariffs will increase by 24.71%, or up to 31.47 UAH.

For residents of Krivoy Rog – clients of “Kryvbasvodokanal” the fee will increase by 24.36%, or up to UAH 26.14.

In the Ternopil region, you will have to pay UAH 30.58 per 1 cubic meter, which is 22.22% more than before.

Tariffs for water consumption in Kiev

Water charges for residents of the capital will grow by 20%, to UAH 25.32 excluding VAT, or to UAH 30.38 including VAT.

From UAH 30.38:

• 16,164 UAH – payment for water supply
• UAH 14.22 – payment for water disposal (per 1 cubic meter including VAT).

Previously Focus reported that, according to the consensus forecast of the Ministry of Economy, in 2022 gas prices in Ukraine will rise by 20%, and the inflation rate will be 8%.
